The Role:
- Contribute to food production according to instructions from the Sous Chef and Head Chef
- Be aware of reservations, outside events, and their impact on business
- Know the menu and daily specials
- Prepare dishes promptly and to standard
- Maintain portion control and minimize waste
- Observe food hygiene practices from storage to service
- Ensure HACCP compliance in all outlets
- Follow health and safety guidelines and report issues
- Be energy and cost-conscious to achieve savings
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report issues
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff and supervise kitchen operations
