Job summary

Benjamin Moore in the United Kingdom seeks a Manufacturing Operative – Kitting to join our Northumberland site. You will gather, prepare, package and label components for our paint manufacturing process to ensure timely delivery.

This role is physically demanding with regular lifting up to 25 kg. You will adhere to health and safety standards and work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic production environment to deliver high-quality paints and coatings.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 1 year's manufacturing experience
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Good attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn new skills
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Responsibilities

• Gather, prepare, packaging, labeling, and issuing all components for the paint manufacturing process
• Follow Bills of Materials (BOMs) to assemble product kits
• Maintain accurate inventory records for kitting components and packaging
• Work with other departments to meet production schedules and customer requirements
• Maintain housekeeping and organisation in the work area
• Support general production and warehouse activities as required
• Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures; use PPE
• Act as a positive ambassador for HSE standards across the site
• Overtime and occasional weekends may be required
• Carry out quality control testing to ensure products meet specifications
• Assist management with product quality investigations and sign-off of quality issues
• Conduct paint approval and sign-off activities using testing methods
