Job summary

Kimal is looking for a Production Stores Operative at our Worcester site to accurately pick and pack components and prepare kits for the production line. You will follow production orders, ensure correct labelling and traceability, and carry out stock checks to report discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a kitting, stores, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use stock management systems.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A good level of numeracy, literacy and co-ordination.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick parts and materials according to production orders and bill of materials.
• Prepare kits for production in line with scheduled demand
• Ensure correct labelling, packaging, and traceability of all components
• Carry out inventory checks and report stock discrepancies
• Support cycle counts and stock rotation activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitting and stores area
• Always follow company health & safety and quality procedures
