Job summary

Premier Inn in Alnwick is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and serve meals guests rely on during their stay. You'll prepare ingredients, cook breakfasts and dinners, keep the kitchen clean, receive deliveries and work with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.

This fixed-term contract (until 2026-12-03) offers 16.5 hours per week, evenings and weekends shifts, and pay up to £13.06 per hour.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; candidates from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses or customer service are welcome.
• Reliability, teamwork and willingness to roll up sleeves during busy periods.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be.
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly.
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.
