Job summary

Yates Queen Square in Liverpool is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join the team. You will support the Head Chef with orders, stock, and food hygiene, while preparing dishes to the high standards our guests expect.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn new skills daily.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy in food prep and hygiene.
• Ability to assist Head Chef with orders, stock taking and hygiene at Yates.
• Experience maintaining kitchen equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation to recipes and specifications.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently for guests.
• Keep the kitchen clean and hygienic at all times.
• Oversee deliveries and stock where required.
• Suggest improvements to kitchen performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to meet targets.

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
