Job summary

JD Wetherspoon Plc is hiring for a kitchen role across our pubs in the UK. You will work as part of a team to prepare and cook food, keep the kitchen running smoothly, and ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Proof of right to work
• Bank account in your own name
• Ability to converse in English and understand training and duties
• Fixed residence within reasonable travelling distance to your workplace
• Basic computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting food to required specifications
• Operating kitchen work stations (grills, fryers, microwaves, etc.)
• Working as part of a team to meet time and quality targets
• Following food hygiene, allergen, health and safety standards
• Cleaning as you go and during full kitchen clean-downs
• Rotating stock and storing food safely
• Completing required induction and ongoing refresher training and contributing to continuous improvement
