Slim Chickens York is hiring Back of House Team Members to join our fast-paced kitchen, preparing and cooking menu items to perfection while upholding high standards.

You’ll maintain a clean, organised workspace, follow food safety guidelines, help with inventory, and work as part of a team to ensure accurate, timely orders. Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standards.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to standard.
• Maintain clean, organised kitchen.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ingredient freshness.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
