Job summary

Slim Chickens is seeking Back of House Team Members at Slim Chickens Clarks Village to help prepare and cook menu items to our high standards in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

You’ll maintain a clean, organised workspace, follow hygiene guidelines, and contribute to a positive team environment while assisting with inventory and stock rotation. Prior kitchen experience is a plus, and flexibility with shifts including weekends and holidays is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and kitchen hygiene is a plus.
• Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Good communication and teamwork to support the kitchen crew.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to order while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and efficient at all times.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation and freshness of ingredients.
• Work with the team to ensure accurate orders are prepared and delivered on time.
• Handle kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
• Support the kitchen team with varied tasks to keep operations smooth.
