Beds & Bars in London is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support fast-paced service, assist with food preparation, cook dishes, and maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with food safety standards.

You’ll work closely with the kitchen and wider team to deliver high-quality dishes during busy periods, manage time effectively, multitask, and adapt to menu changes with a proactive, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Proficient knife handling, slicing and chopping with safety.
• Follow recipes precisely and maintain consistent quality.
• Manage tasks to meet deadlines, especially during busy periods.
• Clear and effective communication with kitchen and bar teams.
• Knowledge of proper food handling, storage and sanitation practices.
• Ability to juggle multiple orders while preserving quality.
• Resolve issues like missing ingredients or equipment quickly.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: prepare ingredients as per recipes and specifications.
• Cooking and Plating: cook and plate dishes with attention to presentation.
• Kitchen Hygiene and Safety: maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Inventory and Supply Management: monitor stock and report shortages.
• Time Management and Coordination: ensure timely dish preparation during peak hours.
• Adaptability: adjust to menu changes and substitutions quickly.
