Slim Chickens Leeds is hiring Back of House Team Members to join our vibrant kitchen, delivering southern-inspired dishes with high standards in a fast-paced setting. You’ll work as part of a team to prepare food, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety guidelines.

We value passion for quality, strong teamwork, and flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts. Prior kitchen experience helps, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for growth within BRG.

Qualifications

• A passion for cooking and delivering quality food.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential!

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection, ensuring every dish meets our high standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and ensuring the freshness of ingredients.
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Handling kitchen equipment safely and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment where everyone thrives.
