Job summary

Slug & Lettuce Preston, part of Stonegate Group, is looking for a Kitchen Team Member to join our busy Preston venue. You will help with food preparation, assist the Head Chef with orders and stock, and ensure hygiene standards are maintained in a lively hospitality setting.

You will contribute to producing high-quality dishes, supporting the kitchen team, and helping deliver great guest experiences in a dynamic pub environment at Slug & Lettuce Preston.

Qualifications

• Experience or passion for hospitality.
• Willingness to learn new skills everyday.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.
• Ability to assist the Head Chef with orders, stock taking and food hygiene.
• Experience maintaining kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes to specification for guests.
• Keep the kitchen in a clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Oversee deliveries.

• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
