Stonegate Group is hiring a Kitchen Team Member at Slug & Lettuce. Be part of a dynamic pub kitchen, supporting the Head Chef with orders, stock checks and hygiene. You will prepare dishes, maintain high standards of cleanliness, manage deliveries, and contribute ideas to improve kitchen performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality environments is preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Support the Head Chef with orders, stock checks and hygiene standards.
• Maintain equipment and work areas to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking to recipe specs.
• Produce high quality dishes consistently for guests.
• Keep the kitchen clean, hygienic and organised at all times.
• Oversee deliveries and stock levels as required.
• Contribute ideas to improve kitchen performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to meet targets and maintain service flow.

• The ability to assist the Head Chef with orders, stock taking, food hygiene at Slug And Lettuce
• The experience to maintain kitchen equipment

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
