Job summary

Slug And Lettuce in Manchester is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to support the Head Chef with orders, stock taking and food hygiene. You will help prepare dishes, maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen and assist with deliveries in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

We welcome individuals who are passionate about hospitality, eager to learn, detail-oriented and ready to contribute to a busy kitchen team. This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.21.

Qualifications

• Interest in hospitality and willingness to learn new skills.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to assist with orders, stock taking and hygiene.
• Experience maintaining kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
