Job summary

Slug And Lettuce Richmond is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our busy kitchen. You will support the Head Chef with orders, stock control and daily food hygiene, helping to prepare and deliver high-quality dishes for our guests.

We value hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to learn. A friendly team environment, flexible working, and opportunities to grow are offered at this iconic pub on the River Thames in Richmond.

Qualifications

• Hospitality-focused candidate with a willingness to learn new skills daily.
• Able to maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Experience supporting head chef with orders, stock taking and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes to specification for guests.
• Ensure kitchen remains clean and hygienic at all times.
• Oversee deliveries.
• Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance.
• Collaborate with team to meet company targets.

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
