Job summary

Premier Inn Bedford (Priory Marina) is recruiting a Kitchen Team Member on a permanent contract for 25 hours per week at a rate of up to £13.06 per hour.

You’ll prepare ingredients, cook breakfast and dinner, receive deliveries and keep the kitchen clean. No hotel experience is required as full training is provided. You will work evenings and weekends as part of a supportive team.

We're currently recruiting in our Bedford (Priory Marina) Premier Inn. Working 25 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 25 contracted hours per week.

Location: Bedford (Priory Marina) Premier Inn - Priory Country Park, Barkers Lane, Bedford, Beds, MK41 9RQ.

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients before service starts

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
