Job summary

Premier Inn in Telford Central is hiring a Kitchen Team Member for 24 contracted hours per week. The role involves preparing ingredients, cooking and plating breakfast and dinner, keeping the kitchen clean, handling deliveries, and coordinating with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.

No hotel experience is required; many entrants start from supermarkets, cafés or retail. If you’re reliable and enjoy teamwork, we’ll teach you the rest and support your development in Premier Inn.

KITCHEN TEAM MEMBER – Telford Central Premier Inn

We're currently recruiting in our Telford Central Premier inn. Working 24 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Pay, hours and location

• Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour
• Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero‑hours contracts.
• Hours: 24 contracted hours per week.
• Location: Euston Way, Telford, Shropshire TF3 4LY
• Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy.

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs. If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
