Job summary

Whitbread is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader for Taunton East Premier Inn to steer the kitchen operations, manage rotas, place food orders and lead the team through busy services with a strong emphasis on food quality and hygiene. • Lead kitchen operations, manage rotas and orders.
• Ensure audit-ready standards and food hygiene.
• Progress toward Head Chef via leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control, and keep food costs on track.
• Lead during service, organise the team and manage workflow.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu to spec, including Premier Inn breakfasts.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards and train colleagues.
• Support shifts and help new team members settle in.
• Learn kitchen management ins and outs for progression.
