Job summary

Premier Inn Livingston is looking for a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen operations and lead a small team through busy services. You will own the kitchen from ordering and stock control to food quality and hygiene, working closely with the Hotel Manager to deliver great guest experiences.

You’ll oversee service during peak periods, train staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. This hands‑on leadership role is ideal for someone aiming to grow into a Head Chef role

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team.
• Experience with food ordering and stock control.
• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and keep food costs on track for the hotel.
• Lead service – organise the team, manage workflow and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare, cook and serve menu items to specification, from breakfasts to pub classics.
• Ensure kitchen meets health, safety and hygiene standards and keep records updated.
• Step up to run shifts and help new team members settle in.
• Learn kitchen management basics to progress to more senior roles.
