Job summary

Premier Inn Bristol City Centre (Cabot Circus) is looking for a Kitchen Team Leader to drive day-to-day kitchen operations, including rota management, ordering, and leading busy services. The role suits someone aiming to build toward Head Chef within Whitbread’s hospitality group.

You’ll be responsible for quality food, hygiene and workflow, with close collaboration to the Hotel Manager and a clear path to senior kitchen responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen or brigades in a busy hotel/restaurant.
• Ability to manage rotas, orders and stock.
• Strong hygiene and health and safety knowledge.
• Willingness to develop to Head Chef role.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and food costs for the hotel.
• Lead service, organise the team and manage workflow.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu to spec.
• Ensure health and hygiene standards are met and records kept.
• Run shifts and help new team members settle in.
• Learn kitchen management for progression.
