Slug & Lettuce Lincoln, operated by Stonegate Group, is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to drive food quality and staff performance in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will coach the kitchen team, uphold safety standards and support the Kitchen Manager in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching and mentoring a kitchen team.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety and health & safety knowledge.
• Willingness to develop professionally and help advance the brigade.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the Kitchen Manager's absence.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance and efficiency.
• Lead the team to achieve targets.
