Greene King pubs in Poole are seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to drive service like clockwork. You’ll lead by example, support the team, and ensure every dish meets our high standards, while creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

You’ll prepare, cook and present meals to spec, maintain hygiene and safety, deputise for the management team, and coordinate the kitchen during peak periods. A passion for great food, teamwork and a can‑do attitude is essential to thrive here.

Qualifications

• Prepare, cook and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team when needed.
• A passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time.
• Be a role model to the team by maintaining high standards and making sure every customer receives the perfect plate.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy service.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
