Job summary

Premier Inn Caernarfon is recruiting a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen, manage rotas, place food orders and lead the team through busy services. You’ll own food quality and hygiene, and work closely with the Hotel Manager to drive kitchen performance.

This hands-on leadership role will develop your cooking and management skills, with a clear path toward Head Chef as you grow within Whitbread’s hospitality division.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen leadership or supervisory role.
• Familiarity with food safety standards.
• Ability to work 30 hours per week and adapt to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering and stock control.
• Lead during service, organise the team and manage workflow.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to specification.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are met and records kept.
• Step up to run shifts and mentor new team members.
• Grow skills toward more senior kitchen management roles.
