Job summary

Premier Inn Caernarfon is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to run day-to-day kitchen operations, manage rotas, place orders and lead the team through busy services. You will work closely with the Hotel Manager to ensure food quality, hygiene and audit readiness, building skills toward a Head Chef position.

The role is hands-on and focused on developing leadership capabilities within a busy hotel kitchen, with opportunities to progress as you grow your career with Premier Inn.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and managing rotas.
• Experience placing food orders and controlling stock.
• Experience ensuring health, safety and hygiene standards in a kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and keeping costs on track for the hotel.
• Take the lead during service – organise the team, manage workflow.
• Prepare, cook and serve menu to spec – breakfast to pub classics.
• Ensure kitchen health, safety and hygiene standards are met and records kept.
• Step up to run shifts and help new team members settle in.
• Learn kitchen management to progress toward Head Chef roles.
