Job summary

Stonegate Group is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader for Slug & Lettuce Solihull area in Birmingham. You will coach and mentor the kitchen team, maintain high food standards and ensure safety compliance while supporting the Kitchen Manager in daily operations.

You will drive hygiene, stock control and guest satisfaction, contributing creative ideas to improve performance and leading by example to meet company targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to support, coach and mentor your team.
• High standard of food knowledge and skill.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal knowledge.
• Willingness to develop personally while helping brigade at Slug & Lettuce.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes to specification for guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, orders and supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.
