Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader and CDP to own your section and drive a busy service, ensuring every plate leaving the pass meets our exact standards for quality, temperature and presentation. You will manage stock, guide the brigade, and uphold our brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor junior kitchen team members, supervise Kitchen Porters, and maintain HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and driving high standards.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP and EHO directives.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead your section on busy service while supporting the brigade.
• Ensure portion control, quality, temperature and presentation standards.
• Coach junior kitchen team members and Kitchen Porters.
• Manage stock to par levels and minimise wastage; keep paperwork up to date for stock takes.
