Job summary

Farmhouse Inns is seeking an Apprentice Kitchen Team Leader to inspire and mentor front-of-house and kitchen teams. You will drive service quality, uphold brand standards, and support operations during busy periods, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer care.

Your apprenticeship includes work-based training, mentoring, and development of English and Maths Functional Skills, with progression toward leadership responsibilities in a busy pub kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Aspiring kitchen team leader with a passion for food and customer care.
• Proven ability to lead by example and support a team.
• Willingness to learn through an apprenticeship and onboard quickly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food to brand standards, ensuring every dish is served with pride.
• Support and guide the kitchen team, helping to organise service and maintain high performance during busy shifts.
• Deputise for the Kitchen Manager or senior chefs when required, helping to resolve issues and keep service running smoothly.
• Ensure all food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Monitor stock levels, food preparation, and kitchen organisation to ensure efficient service.
