Job summary

The Stapylton Arms, part of Stonegate Group, is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to drive daily kitchen operations and coaching of the team. This role focuses on maintaining high quality dishes and supporting the Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth service across shifts.

You will lead by example, train staff, uphold food safety and COSHH standards, and contribute to menu execution and innovation in a busy pub kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Assist in supporting, coaching, and mentoring the team.
• High standard of food knowledge and skill.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S knowledge.
• Willingness to develop personally and help propel the brigade forward.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.
