Job summary

The George, Rugby, part of Stonegate Group, invites a Kitchen Team Leader to join a vibrant pub kitchen. You will support and coach the kitchen team, ensuring high-quality dishes and adherence to safety standards while driving the brigade forward at The George.

You will lead the team in the Kitchen Manager's absence and contribute to stock, inventory, and menu execution in a fast-paced environment that values excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Assist in supporting, coaching, and mentoring your team.
• High standard of food knowledge and skill.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal knowledge.
• Willingness to develop personally whilst helping propel the brigade forward.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.
