Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide a busy kitchen, ensuring high standards and smooth service. You’ll lead by example, support your team and deputise for management when needed.

You’ll prepare, cook and present dishes to specification, maintain hygiene and food safety, and help coordinate the team during busy service in a welcoming pub environment.

As a Kitchen Team Leader, you’ll lead by example making sure the team have everything they need so service runs like clockwork! You’ll support your team by encouraging and helping them to work well together, ensuring every dish served is of the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team when needed.
• A passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time.
• Be a role model to the team by maintaining high standards and making sure every customer receives the perfect plate.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy service.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
