Job summary

Slug And Lettuce in Lincoln is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide the kitchen brigade and support the Kitchen Manager in daily operations. You will ensure high-quality dishes, maintain hygiene standards, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• The ability to assist in supporting, coaching, and mentoring your team.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal knowledge.
• Develop personally while helping brigade forward at Slug And Lettuce.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.
