Job summary

Miller and Carter in Cardiff Bay is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef in building a kitchen to be proud of and to train great people. You will be the master of the menu with a passion for service and quality, driving a team to achieve standout results in a busy, branded restaurant.

You will oversee food preparation, stock control and health & safety, while modelling excellence in guest service. This role offers progression and a strong team culture in a Cardiff location.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams in high-volume restaurant settings.
• Ability to train and develop junior chefs and kitchen staff.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, stock control and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver high-quality food.
• Drive target achievement and performance within the kitchen.
• Oversee food ordering, preparation, stock control and menu execution.
• Ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations.
