Job summary

Stonegate Group, the UK’s largest operator of pubs, bars and late-night venues, invites applications for a Kitchen Team Leader at Bucks Head in Camden. You’ll lead a kitchen brigade, coach the team and ensure high food standards.

Responsibilities include assisting in food prep, supervising in absence of Kitchen Manager, managing stock and compliance with COSHH, Food Safety and H&S, while delivering guest-focused dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Team Leader or kitchen team member stepping up.
• High standard of food knowledge and skill.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, and legal knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for guests.
• Oversee and supervise kitchen team in the absence of Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and supplies management.
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean and hygienic at all times.
• Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.

Are you a Kitchen Team Leader or an experienced Kitchen Team Member who is ready to take the next step. As a Kitchen Team Leader you will play a pivotal role in our business success, whilst there will be an opportunity to develop your skills to enhance your career.

As a Kitchen Team Leader, do you have…

• The ability to assist in supporting, coaching, and mentoring your team
• A high standard of food knowledge and skill
• An up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal knowledge
• A willingness to develop on a personal level whilst also helping propel the brigade forward at Bucks Head

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Leader

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• lead the team to achieve company targets.
