Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader in Scotland to drive service excellence. You will lead by example, support the team, and ensure every dish meets high standards during busy service.

Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, help deputise for the management team, and maintain hygiene and safety. You will motivate staff, coach colleagues, and deliver a great guest experience across our brands.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen or service team.
• Ability to maintain high hygiene and safety standards.
• English speaking and writing to perform the role safely.
• Ability to deputise for management during absence.

As a Kitchen Team Leader, you'll lead by example making sure the team have everything they need so service runs like clockwork! You'll support your team by encouraging and helping them to work well together, ensuring every dish served is of the highest standards.

As a Kitchen Team Leader, you will...

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team when needed.
• A passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time.
• Be a role model to the team by maintaining high standards and making sure every customer receives the perfect plate.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy service.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
