Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader at the White Lion Hotel within Ember Inns, a local pub brand. You will support the Head Chef, train staff, and lead a kitchen that delivers great food and a welcoming guest experience.

You’ll manage food ordering, prep, and stock, while upholding health and hygiene standards and brand menus. Strong leadership and a passion for food are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and delivering high‑quality meals.
• Experience training and developing kitchen staff to perform at their best.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen best practices.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Smash targets with your team and maintain high standards.
• Assist with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
