Greene King in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide the kitchen with hands-on leadership, ensuring every dish meets quality standards and service runs like clockwork. You’ll support a close-knit team, uphold hygiene and safety rules, and step in for managers when needed.

As a pivotal link in our kitchen, you’ll help organise during peak times, stay calm under pressure, and model excellence in food quality and customer care, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Prepare, cook and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to guarantee team and visitor safety.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve issues in their absence.
• Organise and coordinate the team during a busy service.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team.
• Deliver tasty, well-presented meals to customers every time.
