Job summary

Chef & Cook in London’s Dalston and Canary Wharf sites is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, overseeing production, portioning, and service readiness. You will work across the off-site Dalston kitchen and Canary Wharf service, ensuring food is prepared safely, on time, and to consistent quality.

The role requires previous professional kitchen experience, strong leadership, and the ability to follow recipes and production specs under pressure.

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen or food production experience.
• Experience supervising a small kitchen team.
• Able to follow recipes and production specifications.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety; Level 3 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise kitchen team during shifts.
• Organise daily production and mise en place.
• Coordinate food production at Dalston and Canary Wharf.
• Ensure recipes, portion sizes and production specs are followed.
• Maintain high food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Support stock management and ingredient rotation.
