Job summary

Frampton Cotterell CE Primary School is seeking an experienced School Cook or qualified chef to create and serve nutritionally balanced meals for the school community. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–2pm, term-time only with 39 weeks plus inset days for deep cleaning and stock taking throughout the year.

You will need a relevant NVQ Level 2 or equivalent catering qualification. Experience in a professional kitchen is preferred, or strong kitchen experience if unqualified.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent professional catering qualification.
• Experience working in a professional kitchen.
• If unqualified, demonstrate strong experience as a cook in a professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced meals for pupils and staff.
• Serve meals and maintain high standards of service.
• Keep kitchen clean, manage stock and assist with stock taking.

You will need a relevant NVQ Level 2 or equivalent professional catering qualification.
