Purpose

As Kitchen Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our stadium's culinary team by ensuring the accurate management, control, and replenishment of all kitchen stock. You will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, receiving deliveries, maintaining stockroom organisation, and supporting chefs with timely access to the ingredients and equipment they need. Working closely with the culinary and procurement teams, you’ll help minimise waste, manage costs, and uphold food safety standards, ensuring our kitchens are always ready to deliver exceptional service on matchdays, event days, and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Goods Receipting & Distribution

  • Ensure goods are correctly labelled, stored, and distributed to relevant departments or storage areas.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve delivery discrepancies or damaged goods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the goods-in area.
  • Stock Control & Inventory Management
  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels using inventory management systems.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
  • Track usage trends and assist in forecasting demand for key items, especially during peak event periods.
  • Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete stock.

Requirements
  • A confident brand ambassador - comfortable working within established brand guidelines while still delivering impact and results.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment - brings energy, efficiency, and focus under pressure.
  • A strong communicator - able to engage, influence and build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexible and adaptable - embraces change with a can-do attitude and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Calm under pressure - maintains a structured, composed approach, even when juggling competing priorities.
  • Highly organised - with solid IT skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Bonus: A valid forklift licence is a plus, but not essential.

What you’ll get in return:
  • £32,500 per annum
  • Healthcare & Wellbeing - Medicash health benefits (including dental, mental health & optical for you and up to 4 children), free annual health check with Aviva Digicare, discounts at Nuffield Health & Pure Gym, and access to our Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Exclusive Perks & Discounts - Save on entertainment (up to 55% off cinema tickets), shopping (up to 15% off), Vodafone plans, and travel with top providers such as TUI & Expedia.
  • Workplace Benefits - Meals on duty, pension scheme, life assurance, and professional subscriptions paid.
  • Leave & Family Support - 23 days + bank holidays, your birthday off, extra leave after maternity return, a day off for your baby’s 1st birthday, and a holiday purchase scheme.
