Job summary

Sodexo is looking for a General Assistant to help run a busy food service operation. You’ll assist with food prep and serving, keep the kitchen and dining areas clean, and replenish displays while maintaining high hygiene standards.

You will be part of a supportive team, receive full training, and benefit from wellbeing support and staff perks. The role is 38 weeks per year with monthly pay and opportunities for development within the company.

Qualifications

• No prior catering or food service experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
• Maintain clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining areas.
• Replenish food displays and service counters as required.
• Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Provide a friendly and helpful service to customers, colleagues or visitors; maintain a positive and reliable attitude.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Show good organisation and attention to detail.
