Job summary

Howdens Joinery is recruiting a Kitchen Sales Designer to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment. You will build strong relationships with trade customers, influence buying decisions and exceed targets, while delivering exceptional service from initial design to project completion.

With a 40-hour week, you will conduct home visits, utilise CAD knowledge when needed, and benefit from training and a strong team culture at Howdens. Applicants must have a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Results driven with a track record of hitting sales targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with trade customers.
• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle for home visits.
• Attention to detail and good design eye; CAD skills preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and profit by achieving depot targets.
• Build strong customer relationships through professional design support.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout each project.
• Conduct home visits to measure and understand client needs.
• Negotiate prices while protecting margin and design integrity.
• Plan and create inspirational designs using product knowledge to advise customers and resolve queries.

What we are looking for:

• Results driven with experience of reaching sales targets and KPI
• Ability to build trusted relationships with our trade customers and their client
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey ideas clearly and effectively
• Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle for home visits
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for design
• CAD skills are preferred, but not essential as you will receive training
