Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in the UK is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You will help monitor food, maintain clean ware and utensils, and ensure the kitchen stays clean and compliant with HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a kitchen.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Take direction from department managers and monitor food; maintain clean ware, cooking ware, and utensils.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times.
• Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards.
