Job summary

The Social Hub in Glasgow is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team with dishwashing, cleaning, and hygiene tasks. You will help unload deliveries, organize stock, and maintain spotless prep areas as part of a fast-paced hospitality environment.

No experience is required as full training is provided, and you’ll learn the rhythms of a professional kitchen while collaborating with chefs and staff across a dynamic, multinational operation offering growth opportunities and team-focused

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a busy environment on your feet.

• Clear communication; ability to follow instructions and ask when in doubt.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly.
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines.
• Ensure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless.
• Assist the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed (unloading deliveries, organizing stock).
• Maintain proper storage and location of kitchen tools and equipment to support workflow.
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules such as HACCP.
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly.
• Spot and report any issues or hazards immediately.
