Job summary

The Clarence in Glasgow is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. You will help keep the kitchen clean, support chefs with basic prep, and assist with deliveries and stock organisation in a fast-paced pub setting.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play an essential role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and supporting the wider team during service.

In this role, you will:

• Maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas and equipment.
• Wash and store crockery, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently.
• Support chefs with basic preparation and tasks when required.
• Assist with deliveries and organisation of stock.
• Follow all food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, team‑focused working environment.

About You

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment (preferred but not essential).
• Are reliable, hardworking, and take pride in your work.
• Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Are organised and able to work efficiently under pressure.
