Job summary

Cosy Club Bristol, part of Loungers, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team. You will help with food preparation, operate the dishwasher, and keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe. Full training will be provided, with opportunities for progression to chef.

Qualifications

• No prior KP experience required; full training provided.
• Progression opportunities to chef available.
• Able to work in a busy kitchen while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

• Assist with food preparation and dishwashing.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain hygiene standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Support chefs during service and stock rotation.

If you've had previous experience before as a KP, great! If not, then we still want to hear from you, experience is not necessary.

You will be supporting our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation, operating the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of progression opportunity for promotion to chef.

This position is available on a temporary Christmas contract. The details of the contract will be agreed upon with the hiring manager during the interview process. Any temporary contracts can be extended to permanent on the discretion of the hiring manager.
