Susan Hamilton is recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join a busy kitchen team for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity. The role focuses on maintaining high hygiene standards, supporting chefs, and keeping all areas clean and organized.

Your responsibilities will include washing equipment, assisting with basic prep, and handling deliveries while adhering to food safety procedures. Weekly pay is provided during the temporary period.

We’re currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join a busy and professional kitchen team. This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity, offering the chance to secure a long-term position for the right candidate.

The Role:

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a key role in ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation while supporting the chefs and wider kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Washing and sanitizing pots, pans, utensils, dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Assisting with the cleaning of ovens, fryers, grills and other kitchen appliances.
• Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Keeping kitchen and service areas clean, tidy and hygienic at all times.
• Receiving and storing deliveries correctly.
• Disposing of waste and recycling following company procedures.
• Replenishing kitchen supplies and cleaning materials.
• Following food safety, COSHH and health & safety procedures.
