Job summary

Legends Global is recruiting a Kitchen Porter Supervisor to lead the kitchen porter team across events and dining operations at the venue. You will ensure a clean, safe and efficient working environment in collaboration with the Head Chef and kitchen management, allocating tasks and supporting busy periods with hands-on involvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a kitchen porter and ability to lead a team.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure while keeping the team focused.
• Good time management, organisational, and task allocation skills.
• Strong attention to detail in cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the kitchen porter, allocating tasks and managing workflow to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Oversee dishwashing ops, ensuring pots, pans, crockery and utensils are cleaned to standard.
• Support chefs with simple food prep tasks during busy service times.
• Oversee unloading and storage of deliveries following stock rotation and safety rules.
• Ensure waste disposal, recycling and rubbish removal are performed correctly.
