Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Porter for a school site in New Malden. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:30am–2:30pm, term-time only. You will support a busy kitchen, help with dishwashing, stock handling and maintaining hygiene, while contributing to a positive dining environment for students.

This position offers a great work-life balance, free meals on duty, and parking on site. DBS disclosure is required for safeguarding children.

What you will be doing

• Using the dishwasher and carrying out pot washing and dish cleaning
• Putting deliveries away with good stock practice
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
• Completing all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team
• Speaking to each customer and team member in a friendly, helpful and professional manner

You will also need effective communication skills and a good understanding of English to follow health and safety procedures, understand food safety requirements and communicate effectively with the kitchen team.

The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
