Job summary

Hotel du Vin in Harrogate is seeking Kitchen Porters for ongoing starts on a permanent contract. The role is 10 hours per week with a pay rate of 13.80 (incl. TRONC).

You will keep the kitchen and staff areas exceptionally clean and support the brigade with washing and prep tasks. A great entry point into the kitchen with opportunities for progression within the brand. • Kitchen porter experience required or preferred.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness of the kitchen and staff areas.
• Assist kitchen brigade and manage wash areas (pot and plate wash).
• Support chefs and help operate the kitchen from the ground up.

Kitchen Porter, Hotel du Vin 13.80 (incl. TRONC), 10 Hours Permanent Contract Harrogate Hotel Du Vin is looking for Kitchen Porters with Immediate Starts available.

You scrub up well... responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen and staff areas. Kitchen Porters will be required to assist the kitchen brigade by ensuring that the kitchen is maintained at a high level of cleanliness at all times as well as manage the pot and plate wash areas. It can be a demanding job but the rewards are worth it.
