Job description

We are a Japanese & Korean restaurant located in SW12 London, offering the highest quality traditional Korean and Japanese food. The Umi currently offers Delivery and Takeaway services, and the restaurant has reopened. We are seeking an experienced, passionate kitchen assistant who is committed to maintaining high standards of service and operations. Students are welcome, as we offer sponsorship and visa support for the right candidate.

Kitchen Porter, Food Packing

Location:

SW12 London

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and assist in any kitchen section to meet standards set by the Head Chef.
2. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the designated section.
3. Support the Head Chef in delivering quality food and maintaining hygiene standards.
4. Maintain a positive, proactive attitude and seek opportunities to improve skills and performance.
5. Comply with health and safety regulations, Staff Code of Conduct, and company policies.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef and management.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in an Asian restaurant as a kitchen assistant.
• Genuine interest in food and excellent customer service skills.
• Team player with a collaborative attitude.
