Virgin Hotels Edinburgh is looking for a Kitchen Porter to be the backbone of our operation. You will be an all-round team player, supporting every venue and helping with cleaning, restocking dishes, and maintaining a tidy kitchen in line with health and safety standards.

Open for all meal periods, this role requires a positive attitude, flexibility for rotations, and clear English communication with staff and guests. Prior hospitality exposure is preferred but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Ensure that all areas follow health legislation and guidance, creating a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, including wearing a clean uniform and keeping a tidy appearance.
• Transport dishes from venue locations to the main dishwashing station, ensuring safe and efficient movement throughout the property.
• Assist chefs by restocking kitchen equipment and maintaining cleanliness and safety.
• Adhere to kitchen manual rules and regulations, maintaining general kitchen standards.
• Keep the kitchen and surrounding area clean and organized at all times, following food safety SOPs.
